Tshi Malatji is an award-winning film critic, recognised with the Talents Durban Wrapped prize. Their industry training spans key development programs, including the 2026 Berlinale Talents press, 2025 Sudu Academy, the 2024 Southern Africa-Locarno Industry Academy (SALIA), and the 2023 Encounters Community Festivals: Doc Activate Season. They are also the Founder of CINEBA, a vibrant film collective and independent cinema hub based in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
